Elegant Winter Wedding at Wildflower Auberge
Sam & Dina are both hospitality professionals, and exude warmth and joy in everything they do. Their wedding at Wildflower Auberge was the perfect reflection of their life together.
Sam & Dina chose to start their wedding weekend with a quiet family dinner at Wildflower’s world class restaurant, Clay. They spent their wedding morning together reading their personal vows in their luxury cabin before starting their wedding preparations. We (of course) had to visit the onsite farm animals for portraits before heading into Marigold for their dusk ceremony. Guests were treated to a delicious meal from Wildflower, before being invited to the dance floor by traditional Turkish drummers and DJ Niks. Following reception, guests were invited to Wildflower’s Green Room for an after party where a large order of Moon Burger waited to keep the celebration going!
Merilina Events team had THE BEST experience collaborating with Paloma of Paloma Mele Studio on designing the grape table scape, drapes, and icy wax pillars. The style was developed around the seasonal produce + natural dusting of snow that we could expect for their upstate NY December wedding. We leaned into romantic and timeless bows hanging from Wildflower’s existing chandeliers to add a touch of elegance, paired with the soft glow from the hundreds of candles through out the room. The low light for a December ceremony was highly considered in creating their timeline, making sure they would have the right setting for their film photos. The shear sheet installed behind the couple during ceremony was not only for aesthetic, but to also diffuse the low backlight that illuminated the room during their vows.
